It sounds like you need to resurrect the training infrastructure in your
district. This can best be done as the District Training Chair which
you are already concidering. The Training Management Seminar would
probably suit you best in your situation. The new directions would be
excellent for a District or Council Cub training scouter to help reach
out to those new Cub volunteers we need to serve AFTER a solid
infrastructure is there. It seeme like you have the desire and
necessary love of Scouting to do either. PTC, like Woodbadge, is a
Mountain-Top experience. Don't hesitate about going! I'll have to
admit my bias is toward the TMS course, which I'm taking Jun 23-29. My
family can hardly wait!
