It is a tough hike up The South side of Mt. Phillips and especially carrying
water for the next 24 hours. You might consider having the evening meal
that requires water at noon at Clear Creak and have the dry lunch that night
on top of Mt. Phillips. Eat the dry breakfast the next morning on top of
Phillips. Then you do not require water for the evening meal or washing
dishes on top of Mt. Phillips. All you need is 2 quarts of water for that
day and 2 quarts of water for the next day into Saw mill.
