Brent,

We did Clark's Fork to CHQ before lunch in '98. We skipped Shaeffers, however
we did spend quite a while on the Tooth. We got up at 3:30 am and started
hiking about 4:30 am. Even though we did get there for lunch, we did not eat
at the dining hall. After check in at Tent City and getting cleaned up, we
headed to Cimarron to eat lunch at Heck's. Our Ranger told us how good (aka
greasy) the burgers and onion rings were and we looked forward to eating
there the last 5 days on the trail. We were not disappointed in Hecks; I'm
sure the 10 days of trail food played some part in that.

I went to PTC in 2000, but did not eat at Heck's. Does anyone else have any
recent experience there?
