We received our Trek (# 3). Does anyone have any comments/recommendations
regarding the trek itself, routes to take to get the best views, vs. ease of
trek? Activities and other options along the way? First timers at Philmont
(all female crew). Any suggestions would be helpful.
We're also trying to lighten our packs. Any items listed on the packing list
that are not necessary? For certain items, should we use those supplied at
Philmont, or can we get lighter by bringing our own?
