Yeah, it wouldn't be my choice for a white gas stove; but one of my other advisors
had it to offer the crew. The first time we used it, we couldn't get water to boil
on it at all, even after 28 minutes. I'd read somewhere it was a top-rated wg stove
and assumed the problem was pilot error. He tinkered at home and got 2 1/2 l. of
cool water to boil in 7 mins. At 9,000 BTU, I guess that's it. We want it to be our
simmer-er for dinner when our 2 Max Xtremes are being used for something else, or if
a bottle fitting fails on an Xtreme, or if we develop a bottle leak and can't use an
Xtreme. Otherwise, we'll let it sit in its sack and keep its loud snoring to its
self.
