Request for possible side-itinerary opportunities

Gentlemen, please take a look at what we are going to put out at our next planning meeting. We got Trek #1 (not our first choice), and wanted the crew to think about options now (details deleted):

...Day 7 = Black Mountain: 7 miles/2500 ft gain (there are rumours that the trail off Black mtn is not good. There is an alternate route that skips the climb & goes to more Program. Choices are at:
- Miner's Park Camp: Climb Big Red/Rock Climbing (about 11 miles)
- Black Mtn Camp = Mountain Livin', blacksmithing, black powder rifle shoot
Day 8 = Buck Creek: 5 miles/1000 ft gain/loss, Trail Camp
As we pass through Beaubien we could catch Program there: Western Lore, Horsies, showers. There is an alternate route through Comanche Camp at 10 miles that catches the Rocky mtn Fur Company program. We could also day-hike back to Beaubien for another C
huckwagon Dinner instead of packing it.
