The flies we use have 5 grommets on the side. However, we usually use three
stakes on each side. We pull the two middle loops over one stake in the
middle. This helps "V" the side of the tarp to pull rain away from the
ends, towards the middle. It also helps a bit with the process of trying to
even out the four loops. You can stake the one in the middle first, then
pull the corners to taut.
