Cooking is not hard! You typically will do the most difficult meal which is supper, near a water source, whether that is a purified spigot or an unpurified stream. Supper gets done near water and it doesn't matter whether that is at Noon, 2 pm or 6 pm.
The rest of the meals require a minimum amount of water and go.
I know for a first time advisor, you have lots of things going on in your mind. I did. But just worry about the big stuff, like how is the crew doing, is everyone working together, is everyone ok. The rest of the stuff will work itself out.
