Of course, breakfast #10 - Pemmican Bar! Gotta love that one! Still have a
few sitting in my freezer. I wonder if they are still edible?
They weren't when you got them why would they be now? Actually I didn't
mind them because they were filling, my last crew gave most of them to me
after splitting one and deciding they didn't like them.
I'm overwhelmed by the number of hits at our web site
http://troop99packmen.homestead.com/index.html , we went from 178 to 551 in
24 hours. There are a lot more people reading these post than I had
imagined.
Many of the posts mentioned good preparation and good team building are the
keys to success. For first timers the Philmont Ranger is an excellent
resource for many of the little details. His or her job is to go over many
of the skills necessary in having a successful experience. Your first
dinner will be a Ranger demonstration including clean up procedures. The
hanging of the bear bag and other skills too. Sit back and enjoy the ride.
