[Philmont]: August temperatures

Our troop will be heading to Philmont for the first 2 weeks of August in
2004. I have heard that the nighttime temperatures start to drop in
August. What temperature range (daytime and nighttime) can I expect at
that time of year, especially for determining the type of sleeping bag
to bring. Of course I realize it will depend somewhat on what trek we
choose.
