Daytime tempertaures in August are usually in the low- to mid-80s, though
that can vary. Nighttime temps can vary quite a bit depending on your
elevation, but I'd plan on being prepared for temperatures as low as the
low- to mid-30s at night. Typically, early August is the beginning of the
"monsoon season," which means there is the chance you may see quite a bit of
rain. There have been times in the past where it's been cloudy, cool and
rainy for several days straight. Just follow the Scout Motto and Be
Prepared!
