Julian, there can only be one leader in a crew and I and my fellow advisors
give that responsibility to the crew leader elected by the crew. The crew
leader starts being the crew leader when they are elected and we advisors
only there as backup if they need it. We advise.

The crew has been told that this is a boys (and girls) run crew and we let
them do it. Sure they are going to make some mistakes, so what if they do,
they will learn from them and grow. Let them make decisions....it their
crew.

We do have each crew member serve as the navigator at least one day on a
rotation basis.

How would I respond to an advisor who feels otherwise?.... This is how its
going to be, so fall in line or find another crew.

Fred
