I am also in a quandary of getting a down bag..... but based on this batch
of recent postings, my questions have been answered.
I was concerned about weight and compression size -- so down seems the best
way to go.
I have been looking at a bag by Big Agnes. This bag has an unfilled area on
the bottom side of the bag where a sleeping pad is placed. The thing only
weighs about 2 lbs.!!! I'll let you all know how it works out.
