I too enjoyed tenting with my son on my last trek. Not only did I enjoy the
private discussions, but they were also an excellent "reality check" on how I
was doing as Advisor. And I will confess, a couple of times he called me on
something I could have done better. He also really let me have it the day I let
the crew walk about 20 minutes down the wrong trail when I knew it.

If you get the opportunity, I suggest you take it, even if its only for one or
two nights.
