MArk, we had a similar situation. One scouts chose to exchange one of the
Philmont tents with a Eaureka tent that would sleep three kids. They liked
the solution. I would also encourage you and the other advisors to spend
some nights with your sons, it was a great experience for me in 2001. My son
and I shared a Philtent together. It won't happen again though. Now that he
is 17, he is 6 foot one inch and 210 pounds, and I'm 6 foot two inches adn
260 pounds. It would be way too tight for a Phil tent. We'll bring
something larger next time.
