[Philmont]: Philtent Weight

The Guidebook to Adventure states it s about 6 pounds. I have not weighed
one but comparing the design to outher two man tents I would guess that is
close.
The Philtent has some differences from other A-frame tents I have used. For
one it only uses three poles, they save the weight of the forth pole by
using only one in the back. Also these tents use it is either 10 or 12 tent
pegs to hold them up and pull the side walls out.
With all that said and considering that 22,000 campers camp at Philmont each
year, they aren't a bad tent.
