I've heard varying reports from 6-9lbs, but I tend to belive the book,
which I believe lists them at 6.5lbs (?? rusty memory at work ??).
personally, I'm bringing my REI Half Dome. I'm considering leaving the
tent part at home and just bringing the footprint and fly. That would
cut the weight to about 2.5lbs for a 2-man tent (about 4.2lb with the tent).

I had an off-season ranger tell me, "They aren't bad tents, a little heavy
maybe. And we seam seal them at the beginning of the season. They probably
need it again by the middle of the season, but we don't do it then."
This might account for the differing reports we've had here on the tents and
their leaking.
