Would seem that a pot could be replaced by a 12 cup
(3qt) aluminum coffee pot that has a spout and lid
providing a safe way to pour, a lid to bring it to
boil quickly and a storage container for TP or other
items. May still need a open 3/4 qt pot for washing
though.
I'm planning to do a trip in the Pecos Wilderness this
summer and think I will try it.
