[Philmont]: Cells phones at Philmont

Here's my 2 cents..plus one....

I was an advisor on 0609 Trek 5 last year. Yes, I took my cell phone and I
also took a digital video camera. Yes, I packed extra batteries, no, no one
else had to carry any additional load to offset these indulgences.

I had all new Phil scouts with me that included a diabetic, and 2 exercise
induced asthmatics. I the phone was an extra safety (Be Prepared)....the
video camera helped me describe the cinnamon bear to the rangers after it
wandered through our site on Mt. Phillips.

Also the phone allowed the 8 scouts that didn't have their fathers with them
on Father's Day to call home from Mt. Phillips.
