years ago, two-way radios had no place in the backwoods either. But when used
as an emergency communication device, they are invaluable. If that's the way
cell phones are treated, I feel they have a place. I didn't elaborate, but I
see I should. the 3 oz phone I'll carry will be in a ziplock bag burried in
the bottom of my smellables bag. I'm probably not going to tell my wife I'm
taking it on the trail. I'm sure not going to tell work about it.
