RE: [Philmont] - philmont Digest - V01 #911 Trek 13

Jamie, I had a slightly different Trek 13 2 years ago. My journal is at

differed from your itinerary, but it was the same from Aqua Fria to Base
Camp. It was rated "Typical" when we picked it, but when we arrived at
Philmont, Logistics told us it should have been rated "Rugged" due to
the 72 mile length. 11 of us were Philmont rookies and only 1 was an
experienced backpacker. It took lots of teambuilding and teamwork, but
we made it through. If you have any specific questions, holler.
