Rules or not, I don't see a sheath knife being very useful at Philmont.
Other than cutting open food packets, there's not a lot of use for knives at
all. To me, carrying ONE Leatherman for the whole crew makes some sense.
Besides the tongs, you could use other tools to make simple stove repairs or
even tighten the screws in a pair of eyeglasses.
