To provide the contrarian view, I cannot tell you how many dozens of
times I have seen every member of a Crew taking the exact same photo
side by side. And my personal experience is that most Scout photos are
landfill unless the Scout is well trained or truly gifted (yes, some
people have the knack; most don't). If you're trying to save money,
save weight, save yet another set of bear-bag items, and gather a
collection of truly worthwhile shots, you're better off having two or
three quality cameras being run by people who have a clue, and are
motivated to do the job.
