[Philmont]: Pots...continued

Dear Philmont Pholks,
 
What: 8 quart and 4 quart aluminum pots with lids and handles (no bails,
sold as "covered saucepot")
 
Brand: Mirro Co, PO Box 1330, Manitowoc, WI 54221-1330
 
Weight:1 lb, 3.875 ounces and 8.875 ounces, respectively
 
Cost: $9.88 and $6.88, respectively
 
Where: Wal-Mart, houseware isle
 
When: purchased yesterday
 
Misc:

1. 4 quart's handles extend slightly too far for nesting without
modification
2. adhesive label on 4 quart peeled right off, cleanly
3. adhesive label on 8 quart was difficult, resorted to mineral sprits
to remove
4. Lids and pots could be bent by sloppy packing in backpacks...be
aware

Summary:
 
Appears to be pretty good deal...check them out.
