I totally agree. I have similar memories of taking my own lousy photos, and treasure them still. Though I take a digital camera & try to document the whole trip for everyone, I encourage anyone who wants to lug the weight to bring their own. Who knows what's important to each and every Scout in the crew, every minute of every day? Who would want to try?
