Re: [Philmont]: Dean Cutoff

Dave, Dean Cutoff camp is located approximately 1 mile west of Ponil along
the South Ponil Creek canyon. It is a new camp on the south side of the creek.
If you look at the topo map, their is a trail on the south canyon wall from
Ponil to Pueblano, 100 feet uphill from the creek and road. You will see a trail
coming downhill from that trail to the creek/road about 1 mile west of Ponil.
Where that downhill trail intersects the creek and road is where Dean Cutoff
camp is. GPS Cords: W 105 2 55.92 N 36 36 57.76.
