There are no rental cars available in Cimmaron. One possibility would be
for them to get to nearby Angel Fire, Red River or Taos and take scheduled
shuttle service to the Albuquerque airport. It is possible that they could
arrange for a shuttle to pick them up at Philmont for extra $. Check out
this link for possible shuttle service. We usually use Faust or Twin Hearts
from Red River.

Subject: [Philmont]: leaving Philmont.

Our crew is scheduled to return to base camp on a Friday and depart Philmont
the next morning,Saturday. One of our crew advisors and his son need to be
in Oregon that Saturday
afternoon to be in a wedding. Other than leaving a rental car sit there the
entire 2 weeks does anyone know of a way to accomplish this? Is there a
rental car agency in Cimmeron or
a car service that could take 2 people to either Albuquerque or Colorado
Springs late Friday afternoon or evening. Thanks Dan Moser Scoutmaster Troop
