I would agree that different Rangers will focus on different things, but there should be a standard bear safety process that is covered. Changing clothes in your tent is just a bad idea - especially as the trek progresses. On the three treks that I've been on, more and more clothes ended up as smellables due to food getting on them, Going into your tent to change out of clothes that will then be put in the bear bag raises the risk of transferring the food smells to your tent or sleeping bag. I train my crews that the only items that go in your tent are the sleeping pad, sleeping bag and sleep clothes. If the Ranger fails to cover that (as ours did in 2004), everyone already knows what the correct procedure is.
