Someone asked me the other day at our scout meeting if any of our crew suffered the dreaded chafing.
Though I did not personally, some of our crew did have issues. Through this site last year, it was suggested that Boudreaux's Butt Paste be considered as part of the "medicine cabinet". I was glad I had it for the boys. It can be found in the baby supply section at Walmart, by the Desenex and A&D ointments. With the name being humorous, and not refering to diaper rash on the front label, the boys used it as needed. (maybe a couple of times throughout the week). Just thought I would share that tid bit of info. The butt paste, hot spot kit, liquid bandage, and vitamin A (Advil ), were the items most used on our trek. That is until we had an adult crash and burn on the last day, busted his head on a rock and knocked himself out. We needed all our bandages then. Medics had to come up and get him. Required 9 stitches. Be prepared!
