Back when I was in Drum Corps, I had trouble with chafing, so when I went
to Philmont, I took a product called 'Body Glide' that came highly
recommended by someone on this list. It looks like a stick of deodorant,
and can be used on skin as such. I never ended up needing it (the cotton
running shorts in wore back in my Drum Corps days were probably the
culprit), but it's supposed to be good for wherever pack straps or body
parts might rub and chafe.
