I have never heard of a monetary tip for a Ranger. I also never considered
one.
As others have mentioned, it is quite common and "normal" to give them crew
T-shirts, OA flaps, CSP's, other gifts. or a post-trek meal (in town
(Cimarron)).
My impression is that the more personal it is - the better.
Even better, is to go as a well-prepared and cooperative crew... If you do
that, your crew and Ranger tend to bond well and have many fond memories.
