As a former ranger, a clean t-shirt and getting real food with a past crew are the best options. College students can always use another shirt that gives them an extra day without doing laundry. And whether its ice cream at the snack bar, ice cream in town, or sharing a pizza in town (just examples), it's more than appreciated. Although, as one comment said, being a prepared crew is the best gift of all. Unlike one crew I had who didn't even know how to set up their own, personal tents. Those few days were an adventure.....
