I'm not sure that is perfectly true, either. I called Philmont last July
and explained that I was getting a physical for a troop backpacking trip to
Isle Royale, and would be on in a 2005 itinerary. I was FAXed the 2004 form
with full knowledge that I would be presenting the physical for our 2005 608
trek. I'll call Philmont to check, because having my physician put the info
on this year's form is easier than the hassle during re-check.

The medical exam must be documented on the current year's Philmont medical
form. I seem to remember receiving our 2005 Philmont forms in late 2004
so it would be possible for someone to have a valid exam for the summer of
2005 which actually took place in 2004.
