We took our crew through a COPE weekend at our Council's COPE course. It
worked out very well. Not only did the experience help build the team, it
allowed the crew to see who among them was and who was not a team player. In the
latter case, knowing who may not be a team player can help you identify
individuals who may put themselves or the rest of the crew at risk on the trail,
who may require special handing by the crew leader, etc.
