not adhere very well and degrade with washing. The screened area is a hot
spot that prevents wicking and heat transfer. I obtained this information
from a large silk screening company last year. They were willing to do the
job but discouraged it. We use a 50/50 blend and don't take them on the
trail.

We silk screened CoolMax for our trek t-shirts in 2003 and just used line
drawings (basically a Philmont logo with our crew info printed underneath).
They have held up beautifully with no ink degradation so far, and we still
wear them a lot. It was white ink on royal blue t-shirts that we purchased
on clearance for about $5.00 from Campmor and looked great. I agree that
hot spots would be a problem with large graphic areas, but our line
drawings were a non-issue.
