It appears that according to the Pristine web site

of Crypto and Giardia is accomplished via a filter which is used as an
accessory to the drops.

        Need some input on this water issue, especially from our veterans
and chemists out there. The new Micropur system says that it can take as
long as 4 hours to get rid of cysts, however, I found a different product
called Pristine Water Purification System, www.windupradio.com/Pristine
which uses a 2 part system to produce Chlorine Dioxide (CIO2)  very widely
used by municipal water treatment systems  this two part system can purify
water in 15 minutes ( 30 minutes if cloudy and cold) - this sounds like a
better system, any input?
