We use (70 or 100 oz) bladders with drinking tubes, 1 nalgene bottle for
mixed drinks. Crew gear includes for each person, 1, 48 oz nalgene bag, 4
nalgene 96 oz bags & 1 MSR 2.5 gallon bag. The 96 oz bags are rotated
around to make it fair on the dry days. The MSR 2.5 gallon bag is for dry
camps, then to fill other bags and bottles at each camp. Just how we do it.

Subject: [Philmont]: Water carriers (once again)
Hello all...
Just want to confirm what everyone thinks about water carriers (and I know
there will be a mixture of advice offered).
If each person on the crew carries two Nalgene bottles and a larger
bladder-type water carrier (with or without the sipping tube), will that be
enough?
Please advise.
