We used 2 one liter bottles or equivalent bladder and a 3 liter nalgene bag
for each person. Topped off at the last source before the dry camp and had
plenty to get water the following morning.

Subject: [Philmont]: Water for dry camps

Just wondering how you carry twice the water for dry camps. do you use the
three 2.5 gallon containers you are supposed to bring, or do you use 3 liter
platypus or nalgene canteens for each crew members. Seems like carrying
that 2.5 gallon container would be a real pain!
