[Philmont] Pizza at Cimarron River

A couple of peripheral comments:

A) I have been through the tunnel there 7 or 8 times in my career, and
have never seen a Simple Simons sign there. Nor have I seen any pizza
boxes, napkins, wrappers, soda cups, or anything else that suggests a
major problem there. Plenty of nasty grafitti, though.

B) I have never heard from any Philmont staffer, including Rangers,
about any edict concerning Simple Simons deliveries. That includes at
the already too tedious Advisor Orientation meeting. Nor is there
anything in the Philmont paperwork about it, and I would think that if
Mark was that hardcore about it, it would be written up somewhere.

C) Seems that if Mark wanted to get himself riled up about something, he
would be better off trying to do something about the dozens of Scouts
(and Advisors, alas) swimming in the Cimarron. As I mentioned last
summer on my Report to the List, that problem was absolutely out of
control when we went through there last summer.

Then again, Mark is the driving force behind the
"whether-you-like-it-or-not" mandatory burros edict, so if there's a "No
Simple Simons" edict, I can't say I'll be overly surprised. Though
speaking frankly, seems like he has lots more important things to worry
about. And besides, I'm sure bears love pizza scraps, too....
