Our crew took 3 JetBoils to Philmont last year and loved them. We did not
cook the conventional Philmont way. Once our Ranger saw our method he loved
it and was going to tell other Rangers about it. I will definitely do it the
same way next time.
We prepared our meals as buddy pairs. A JetBoil's 2 cup capacity was perfect
for rehydrating their meal; 2 minutes and the JetBoil was passed to the next
pair. As I said, this is not the Philmont way but, to us, it was much
better.

Subject: [philmont] Disposing of gas cannisters
Does anyone have any experience using a JetBoil at Philmont? Are the fuel
canisters for that stocked at the Trading Post?
