Got that right. Pretty silly to bring cotton to Philmont.
I don't however, understand how people say things dry out overnight. In
2005, our mid-August
trek left both poly liners and smartwool socks wet for about 36 hours.
Maybe earlier in the
season it's a bit different when it really is dryer.
Re: The comment on butt paste. I'm a fan of A & D ointment (designed for
diaper rash) myself.
I can understand that. However, I found BBP to be a much easier "sell" to
the boys. They are much
more willing to put that on than something ordinary sounding that is diaper
rash ointment.
