This is a great point. As advisors, we want to have every aspect ot
the trip planned-out. Certainly we need to "Be Prepared" but we need
to keep in mind that this is a learning and growth experience for the
scouts. The more decision-making that we can allow the scouts to make,
the more meaningful Philmont will be.
