[philmont] Ft Carson

In 05 our Troop did the same thing, and flew into the Springs. They opted to spend a day touring the Air Force Academy. (The Crew Advisor was retired AF) and I believe they bunked at the Academy for one night before heading on to other activities prior to arriving at Philmont.

  Our contingent of 4 crews will be flying into Colorado Springs on our way
  to Philmont in July. We are planning a number of sightseeing activities
  in and around CS the day before we report to Philmont. We are thinking
  about camping at Camp Falcon on the Ft Carson base. Has anyone camped
  their before and if so would you recommend it? Any other suggestions are
  welcome as well. Thanks
