[philmont] Fundraisers - Earning your own way, or Scout Sanctioned Money Earning Project

I am filling out a Unit Money-Earning Application, and it occurs to me that
only the scouts heading to Philmont are organizing and running the
fund-raiser we want to do to raise money for their transportation expenses.
The fundraiser is a basic rummage & bake sale. We are asking the troop,
friends and family for donations of used goods.

Can someone advise me if I should be handling this as a "Unit Money-Earning
Applaction" or keep BSA out of it and just have the 5 Scouts involved do it
as an "earning your own way" sort of project without using the BSA name.

How have Philmont Scouts approached there basic fundraisers in the past?

Your input is appreciated!
