What you want is for the kid (or adult) with potential medical issue to show
up, and have them say "Oh, we know all about you, no problem." I have taken
two kids to Philmont with medication controlled seizure disorders, as well
as an adult with a stent, and others with assorted lesser conditions. In
each case, Philmont was aware of that person's specific medical history
before they arrived, had verified with their physicians back home in
advance, and their medical check-in was trivial compared to everyone else.
