Its a White Rooster not Chicken on clear bottle.

It is of Vietnamese origin and we 1st were introduce to it by a "hermit" named TY who lives 9 months a year in the Pisgah National Forest. We had been hiking through North Carolina 9 years ago when we found him by a stream along the trail and he rescued us from our dehydrated fate. I have kept a bottle ever since on all of our backpacking trips.

The kids in Troop 787, Greater St. Louis Area Council, think they were the first to bring it in 2005. We buy it in the Asian grocery stores and you will see it on the counter of every Chinese take out if you want to try before you buy. Your comments about flavor were correct and the other key is that it came in a plastic bottle. 10 of us used about 3/4 of a bottle plus an assortment of other spices.

I want to thank who ever told the group about this sauce. The fullname of
it is Sriracha Tuong OT Sriracha hot chilie sauce. It has a wonderful
flavor and it says hot sauce, just not that hot. It has more flavor than
most sauces. If you have sinus problems, use this daily and it will make
them go away. It costs about 2$ per bottle. Find it @ Walmart in the Asian
food isle. The key is to look for the white chicken on the label. Clear
    plastic bottle.
