Yes, at Philmont they tell you to let it sit for an hour. Those
instructions differ slightly from the directions on the Polar Pure
bottle. Philmont's instructions are due to water temperature,
experience, and a few other things I'm sure.
However, if you're going to boil water, adding a little Polar Pure can
do nothing but help.
