I just got off the phone with Betty in Reservations at Philmont. This
is a completely incorrect statement. The call-in date for 2004 is
November 9, 10:00a - 1:00p CST at 800.962.4000. Unit reservations, as
well as council contingents are all taken. No change in the reservation
procedures at all.

philmont will no longer take unit reservations. treks go only to
council contingents. of course, special programs, like o.a. trail crew,
etc., are still available for individual scouts. jackson morris,
