Our Trek was in July, and the only time we were really cold was on top of
Mount Phillips (11,400 ft). In the vening, it was nice to watch the sun set
over Wheeler Peak. We all had on our raingear for windbreakers. When it got
dark, we jumped inot our sleeping bags. When we woke up, it was just below
freezing, with a very strong wind. But as we got moving, the blood started
pumping and we were fine. That was the one night some of the kids wanted a
warmer bag.
