I just attended the Philmont Training Center a couple weeks ago. It
seems to make a difference what day you hit the trading post. I arrived
at PTC on a Sunday. That afternoon, I went over to the trading post and
they were out of a lot of stuff. I went back a couple days later and
they had been largely restocked. I suspect that Sundays are bad with
all the new PTC folks arriving. I also suspect that Wednesdays are bad
because most of the PTC classes don't meet on Wednesdays.
Unfortunately, there are a fair number of us that attended PTC that
needed the XXXL shirts.
